Stella and Daniel were both living in Abuja before they reportedly travelled to the US together.
Though there have been speculations on both Nollywood figures having a romantic relationship between them, which they both denied. They have also both denied the rumoured secret marriage they allegedly had in the US earlier in the year.

AY Challenges Celebs To Stop Begging for Money for OJB and Give Their Money

Popular comedian, AY, has proved to be a man with heart of gold as he urged his fellow entertainers to stop the embarrassment of asking ordinary Nigerians to donate 'just' N15m for their colleague, OJB, who is down with Kidney failure.

D'Banj Publicly Embarrassed By Lady, Hubby At DKM Concert [Pictures]

The much talked about De King's Men (DKM) concert was finally held last night in Lagos but it didn't go without the main organiser of the show, D'Banj, getting a bowl full of shame at his own event.

Or what can best explain the big embarrassment and lesson well dished out to the self-confessed former fraudster turned singer, D'banj that not all women are wayward like he may have always thought in his mind.

Thinking in his mind that because most ladies screamed at the sight of him while he jumped down the stage to where the guests were seated, D'Banj approached an unidentified lady and thought she would melt at his 'cheap' request of 'come and dance with the Eja Nla', another name he is called.

But the Kokomaster got one of the worst insults of his life when the lady shocked him and politely turned down his request. Not believing his eyes, D'banj pressed on until he was forced to drag the said lady to the stage for a forceful dance.

At this time, a man walked up to D'Banj and told him that the lady is his wife and cannot dance with him on stage. This inflicted serious injury on the singer's ego who was forced to let go of the lady, who later left the show with her 'lover'.

How Life Has Turned For Pastor Chris Okotie's Estranged Wife

This ravishingly beautiful lady, Stephanie Henshaw, seemed to have struck gold when she married Pastor Chris Okotie at an elaborate twin ceremonies a few years ago. So in love were the duo that many thought it was too real to be true. He showered her with attention and gifts.

This remained the state of things of their love until things turned ugly...

Following their controversial break up, Pastor Okotie not only retrieved the car gifts he bought for her when the going was good, he stripped her of all other privileges she used to enjoy as his wife, since then, life has not been easy for Stephanie as she now struggle to get the least of things, you just can't believe even if I mention them. Sadly, the mother of three is almost a shadow of her old self.

And according to a Punch report, Stephanie, who is said to reside with her sister in Lagos, was sighted in a "not-so-posh" part of town recently riding in a taxi.

I wish her husband can take her back and end her 'stress'. Is this possible?

How Africa Voted

Here is how Africa voted this week (23 June 2013) – We say goodbye to Motamma (Botswana) and Betty (Ethiopia).

Here's who which country voted for:

Angola: Oneal
Botswana: Oneal
Ghana: Elikem
Kenya: Nando
Ethiopia: Betty
Malawi: Natasha
Namibia: Nando
Nigeria: Nando
South Africa: Oneal
Sierra Leone: Bolt
Tanzania: Nando
Uganda: Nando
Zambia: Natasha
Zimbabwe: Natasha
Rest of Africa: Oneal

Total: Nando = 5; Oneal = 4; Natasha =3, Bolt = 1, Elikem = 1, Betty = 1, Motamma = 0. (Total: 15 Votes)

Please Note: Tie-breaker rules were applied to Betty, Bolt and Elikem as they each had one popularity vote. The housemate with the lowest average percentage across all countries is Betty, and therefore she was Evicted.

Betty bolts out of the game!

Tonight is indeed a sad day for Betty. The gorgeous Ethiopian was all set to win not only a cool USD 300 000, but also a sexy Sierra Leonean man, as the icing on the cake.

Unfortunately, all those dreams have come crashing down like a deck of cards. Not only is Betty leaving her fellow Housemates behind, but she is also bidding adieu to the man she fell in love with as soon as she walked into the Big Brother House. Starting immediately, Bolt goes back to being single and will have no one to fawn over him like a hen in the Ruby House.

How Bolt will survive without his lady love keeping his bed warm at night remains to be seen. However, judging by the looks of anguish as Betty was Evicted; Bolt is in for one lonely road ahead.

When Betty's Eviction was announced, Bolt looked shell shocked. The Sierra Leonean’s mouth flew open as he tried to make sense of what had just happened.

He held on tightly and kissed her passionately for the last time, as Betty was quickly whisked to the Eviction doors.

End of the road for Motamma

After four weeks in the game, Botswana's Motamma has been Evicted.

Not even a pretty face or sexy body could keep The Chase's resident cutieMotamma from getting the Eviction boot. After a grueling week of voting, Africa decided to save ElikemOnealBolt,NandoBetty and Natasha from possible Eviction and left the sexy Tswana to hang at the gallows.

This week, Motamma made the Nominations list for the first time since her Chase journey started and unfortunately proved to not be the strongest of contenders.

Motamma's fellow countryman, Oneal, was also up for possible Eviction this week, following a dramatic swap by Ruby Head of House Bassey on Monday evening. Earlier in the week, Oneal prophesied that he would be Evicted tonight. Looks like the Tswana cutie needs to brush up on his prediction skills because he is still in the running for the USD 300 000 prize and remains Botswana's only hope as the Chase heats up. Motamma's Chase journey has been nothing but bittersweet.

After sending temperatures soaring throughout Africa with skin-tight garb and barely there dresses, the entire continent shared in her pain when she lost her beloved grandfather.

Motamma has certainly fought her fight and it is safe to say her fellow Housemates and fans will miss her and of course that booty.

Sulu for HoH

Many Housemates seem to have a lot riding on tomorrow's Head of House Task.

Head of House is super important title to hold in the Big Brother House. No one knows this more than the Housemates themselves. Many have utilised the immunity from Eviction HoH gives them to play a strategic game that has helped them advance every week.

Tomorrow, Sulu hopes he will finally get his chance to wear the sought after badge, after failing to for such a long time. "Winning the HoH Task tomorrow is very important. If I win, there will be drama, especially when it comes to the House swap", Sulu said in a conversation with Oneal. Later as he and Feza chilled in the garden, Sulu expressed his HoH desires again. "Tomorrow is the day! I have to win Head of House," he said.

Sulu is clearly serious about winning the HoH Task this week. After all, why wouldn't he be when it gives him the power to 'Save and Replace' at will, as well as get rid of the Housemates he doesn't want in the Ruby House, by moving them to the Diamond House.

The big question though; do you think Sulu would make a good Head of House, or would his fellow Housemates walk all over him?

Mr. & Mrs. Jara: Uti Nwachukwu And Helen Paul Make Cover Of “Redsheet” Magazine

Before you all bite my head off, I know Helen Paul is happily married and even a mother but the temptation was too much to hold inside.
I mean just look at the photo, they look like an actual couple.
Anyway, the two Jara presenters were picked to appear on the magazine cover spread and I think it wasn’t a bad decision at all!!!

Actor James Gandolfini Dies In Italy At Age 51

James Gandolfini’s Tony Soprano, the lumbering, brutish mob boss with the tortured psyche, will endure as one of TV’s indelible characters.
But his portrayal of criminal Tony Soprano in HBO’s landmark drama series “The Sopranos” was just one facet of an actor who created a rich legacy of film and stage work in a life cut short.
Gandolfini, 51, who died Wednesday while vacationing in Rome, refused to be bound by his star-making role in the HBO series that brought him three Emmy Awards during its six-season run.
“He was a genius,” said “Sopranos” creator David Chase. “Anyone who saw him even in the smallest of his performances knows that. He is one of the greatest actors of this or any time. A great deal of that genius resided in those sad eyes.”
Dr. Claudio Modini, head of the emergency room at the Policlinic Umberto I hospital in Rome, said Gandolfini arrived at the hospital at 10:20 p.m. (2020 GMT, 4:20 p.m. EDT) Wednesday and was pronounced dead at 11 p.m. after resuscitation efforts in the ambulance and hospital failed.
Modini told The Associated Press that an autopsy would be performed starting 24 hours after the death, as required by law.
Organizers of the Taormina Film Festival in Sicily were scrambling to put together a tribute to Gandolfini, who had been expected to attend the festival’s closing ceremony this weekend and receive an award. Organizers Mario Sesti and Tiziana Rocca said Gandolfini will instead be honored with a tribute “remembering his career and talent.”
Sesti and Rocca said they had spoken to Gandolfini hours before his death “and he was very happy to receive this prize and be able to travel to Italy.”
Joe Gannascoli, who played Vito Spatafore on the drama series, said he was shocked and heartbroken.
“Fifty-one and leaves a kid — he was newly married. His son is fatherless now. … It’s way too young,” Gannascoli said.
Gandolfini and his wife, Deborah, who were married in 2008, have a daughter, Liliana, born last year, HBO said. The actor and his former wife, Marcy, have a teenage son, Michael.
Gandolfini’s performance in “The Sopranos” was his ticket to fame, but he evaded being stereotyped as a mobster after the drama’s breathtaking blackout ending in 2007.
In a December 2012 interview with The Associated Press, he was upbeat about the work he was getting post-Tony Soprano.
“I’m much more comfortable doing smaller things,” Gandolfini said then. “I like them. I like the way they’re shot; they’re shot quickly. It’s all about the scripts — that’s what it is — and I’m getting some interesting little scripts.”
He played Defense Secretary Leon Panetta in Kathryn Bigelow’s Osama bin Laden hunt docudrama “Zero Dark Thirty.” He worked with Chase for the ’60s period drama “Not Fade Away,” in which he played the old-school father of a wannabe rocker. And in Andrew Dominick’s crime flick “Killing Them Softly,” he played an aged, washed-up hit man.
On Broadway, he garnered a best-actor Tony Award nomination for 2009′s “God of Carnage.”
Deploying his unsought clout as a star, Gandolfini produced a pair of documentaries for HBO focused on a cause he held dear: veterans affairs.
He was mourned online in a flood of celebrity comments. “The great James Gandolfini passed away today. Only 51. I can’t believe it,” Bette Midler posted on her Twitter account.
“An extraordinary actor. RIP, Mr. Gandolfini,” Robin Williams tweeted.
His final projects included the film “Animal Rescue,” directed by Michael R. Roskam and written by Dennis Lehane, which has been shot and is expected to be released next year. He also had agreed to star in a seven-part limited series for HBO, “Criminal Justice,” based on a BBC show. He had shot a pilot for an early iteration of the project.
While Tony Soprano was a larger-than-life figure, Gandolfini was exceptionally modest and obsessive — he described himself as “a 260-pound Woody Allen.”
In past interviews, his cast mates had far more glowing descriptions to offer.
“I had the greatest sparring partner in the world, I had Muhammad Ali,” said Lorraine Bracco, who, as Tony’s psychiatrist Dr. Melfi, went one-on-one with Gandolfini in their penetrating therapy scenes. “He cares what he does, and does it extremely well.”
Gandolfini grew up in Park Ridge in New Jersey, the son of a building maintenance chief at a Catholic school and a high school lunch lady.
After earning a degree in communications from Rutgers University, Gandolfini moved to New York, where he worked as a bartender, bouncer and nightclub manager. When he was 25, he joined a friend of a friend in an acting class.
Gandolfini’s first big break was a Broadway production of “A Streetcar Named Desire” where he played Steve, one of Stanley Kowalski’s poker buddies. His film debut was in Sidney Lumet’s “A Stranger Among Us” (1992).
Director Tony Scott, who killed himself in August 2012, had praised Gandolfini’s talent for fusing violence with charisma — which he would perfect in Tony Soprano.
Gandolfini played a tough guy in Scott’s 1993 film “True Romance,” who beat Patricia Arquette’s character to a pulp while offering such jarring, flirtatious banter as, “You got a lot of heart, kid.”
Scott called Gandolfini “a unique combination of charming and dangerous.”
In his early career, Gandolfini had supporting roles in “Crimson Tide” (1995), “Get Shorty” (1995), “The Juror” (1996), Lumet’s “Night Falls on Manhattan” (1997), “She’s So Lovely” (1997), “Fallen” (1998) and “A Civil Action” (1998). But it was “True Romance” that piqued the interest of Chase.
In his 2012 AP interview, Gandolfini said he gravitated to acting as a release, a way to get rid of anger. “I don’t know what exactly I was angry about,” he said.
“I try to avoid certain things and certain kinds of violence at this point,” he said last year. “I’m getting older, too. I don’t want to be beating people up as much. I don’t want to be beating women up and those kinds of things that much anymore.”

50 Cent Released From Hospital After Car Accident

A month after 50 Cent was hospitalized with some blockage in his small intestine, Fif was back in the hospital last night, this time after a car accident. He has since been released and is back on the mend.

“Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York early Tuesday morning. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries,” said a spokesperson for the rapper in a statement given to MTV News. “He was released this morning and is doing fine.” The rapper’s website This is 50 broke the story early Tuesday morning (June 26), though the details are thin.

The site reported that the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ MC’s bullet-proof SUV almost flipped over after it was rear-ended by a Mack truck while driving on the Long Island Expressway in New York City. The site published multiple pictures of 50 on a stretcher with a neck brace. There are also pictures of 50′s mangled SUV as well as photos of the truck that is said to have caused the accident.

50 famously survived a 2000 attack in which he was shot nine times and in 2003 dropped his classic major-label debut Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Fif has since built himself as one of rap’s biggest draws and smartest business minds, crafting lucrative deals in music and merchandising.

Fif’s latest mixtape The Lost Tape was released in May and on July 3 the G-Unit Records CEO will be releasing his oft-delayed fifth studio album 5 (Murder By Numbers). Leave your get-well wishes for 50 Cent in the comment section.

D'banj acquires Suit of Money from Okunoren worth $25, 000

International superstar, entertainer and Oliver Twist crooner, Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D’banj is always breaking new grounds in terms of his wardrobe and clothing items. In a recent newspaper interview, he confirmed he wears the same wristwatch as American rapper Jay-Z, valued at $50,000.
He has been appointed as the Hennessy Artistry artiste for 2013 and also recently became the Goodwill ambassador for the Bank of Industry. D’banj has continued to rise in stardom despite his split from erstwhile partner and friend, Don Jazzy. He has continued to command huge sums of money in endorsements, appearances and performances thus still making him the highest earning Nigerian artiste of all time. His DKM concert being held on June 23rd 2013 at the Eko Hotel & Suites will feature International rapper, 2Chainz as well as another surprise guest.

This increasing earning power has also led to an increase in spending as D’banj just took delivery of what is known as the “Suit of Money”. Designed by Okunoren, Nigeria’s leading clothing brand, the Suit is made of actual One Hundred Dollar bills and cost a whopping $25,000, which is approximately N3.7 million. His new song titled Blame it on the Money”, featuring Snoop Lion and fellow Good Music act Big Sean goes further to emphasize his wealth where he states he is unapologetic for being rich, it is set to become one of the major anthems this summer.

"I'm going home this week" - Oneal

Oneal knows he has been swapped. How he knows this however, remains a mystery.

In a conversation with Sulu this evening, Oneal revealed how he knows he has been put up for possible Eviction this week. The Tswana Housemate was put on the Evictions list by Head of HouseBassey, when he elected to save Zimbabwe's Pokello.

The HoH's 'Save and Replace' is supposed to remain a secret until the big reveal on Sunday during the Live Eviction Show.

"I know for sure that I'm going home this week. Well, that's if Africa doesn't decide to save me", he said. Sulu, in his typical comedic fashion, expressed how shocking and offensive the idea is to him. "That's crazy to me. This game is turning out to be very interesting. At least we didn't leave in the first week. I would have cried like a baby. Now, I'm composed", he said.

In recent days, Big Brother has warned the Housemates about leaking this kind of information in the House. Whether the Housemates will be taken to Task or not for this particular slip up, is all a matter of speculations.

Is Oneal right? Is he leaving this week? Remember to vote to keep your favourite in the game!

Next flight home?

After announcing his exit from Chocolate City a few weeks ago, Pop singer Brymo is still airing his grieves to anyone who cares to listen…
Speaking during a conference he held for journalists this week, the singer says he left the record label due to a ‘breach of contract’.
I’m actually having problems with Chocolate City and it’s contractual problems. The reason why I said I dumped the contract was because of breaches‘, Brymo told reporters in Lagos.
The singer says he believes he cannot ‘be saved’ by the Nigerian court if he were to legally pursue the matter hence his cry to the public. ‘It came important to call this gathering, I’m a Nigerian, I know the court cannot save me‘.
The singer who’s known for delivering master hooks also says he’s moved on with his career and has been working on his own personal stuff.
Despite Brymo’s claims, Chocolate City stands on their statement that Brymo is still signed to their label; with a subsisting three-year contract.

Pokello shakes her money maker

It was just yesterday that Pokello dubbed her bootylicous bottom her “moneymaker” and today the young Zimbabwean shook that money maker of hers like she was about to get paid for it.

After Angelo’s robot man performanceit was Pokello who took to the centre stage to display her own dance skills and skilled she most certainly is, when it comes to raunchy grinding, hip-dipping and slow winding the Zimbabwean is a force to be reckoned with and then some. She clearly knows it too as she never misses an opportunity to show off her, erm… talents, much to the delight of the Rubies who all cheered her on.

Bassey joined her provocative performance for a short while but then he retired to the couch and she soldiered on with her bold moves by herself. And hot diggity dayum that girl sure takes her gyrating very seriously as she always has an eye of the tiger expression on her face when she is dropping it low.

Hafeez Ayetoro, Aka Saka “PORTS” From Etisalat To MTN

The Number Portability launched by the NCC yesterday must have gotten its first casualty if the current advert being run by Telecom giant, MTN, is anything to go by.
Ace comedian, Hafeez Ayetoro, a.k.a, Simply Saka who has become the face of Etisalat might have switched network from the GSM company he was known with. It will be recalled that Hafeez’s face became a part of Etisalat branding for some years.
News reaching us however affirms that Saka has changed camps and pitched his tent with rival telecoms giant MTN; and a new MTN ad campaign proves this fact.
MTN just commenced their television commercial for the recently activated Number Portability Scheme with Saka excitedly announcing he has ‘upgraded’ to MTN. The ad starts with Saka dressed in green traditional attire only to transform into a bright yellow attire as he leads a music band.
I don port o, I don port go MTN. I don upgrade to MTN‘, Saka sings and dances. Credible sources confirm that Saka got paid a whooping N20m for this new deal.
