I Don't Have Time For Marriage But My Album--Weird MC
Weird MC is an artiste that has been in the game of music in Nigeria for a long time. Her hit single 'Allen Avenue' of the 90's shot her into limelight. Not many who listened to that song then may ever envisage that she would still be talked about in 2013 because most of her contemporaries have gone oblivion. After her 'Ijo Ya' hit single in mid 2000, it has been a battle for Weird MC to headline some Nigeria's biggest shows again.
As it is being rumoured, the artiste has clocked well over 30 but she has remained single.
In an interview with HipHop World recently, Weird MC reportedly said she has no plan of marriage in her mind for now. She was quoted to have said that her album release is paramount to her not marriage.
Hear her, "I don't have time for that (marriage). It's not even in my plans. Right now, I've got an album coming out, so that's not in my plans."

New Photos of Nigeria’s ‘Big Brother’ housemate, Beverly Osu
21 year-old Beverly Osu has been in the Big Brother Africa House a few days now but she’s got a lot of opinions about men.
The video vixen and model who was rumoured to have been engaged to rapper 2shotz recently said that she doesn’t take men seriously.
When questioned about falling in love in the Big Brother Africa house, the housemate said:
I was in a relationship with this guy and I was close to marrying, but I broke up with him just because after fighting with my parents over him, and with my friends too; I found out that he had not a single feeling and neither did he love me at all so I had to break up with him. After all that this guy did to me, every guy that I meet and seem to fall in love with or any one that tells me he’s in love with me, I don’t take them seriously. All I know is that you guys will be chasing something and on getting it, youleave the morning after that.

PHOTOS: Meet The Happily Married Couple Who Never Have Sex
Most evenings, with their little girl safely tucked up in bed, Charlotte and Chris Everiss enjoy a kiss and a cuddle on the sofa in front of the television.
Happily married for a decade, the couple cannot bear to even imagine their lives without one another. Yet, astonishingly, they haven’t made love for more than two years.
Both insist that their marriage, which followed a two-year courtship after meeting on a dating website, is stronger than most. It’s just that sex, they say, is not important to their happiness.
We still turn each other on but we don’t want to take it any further,’ says Charlotte. ‘We don’t have the time or the energy.
‘I find it hard switching off knowing that our four-year-old, Addison, is in the next bedroom. I think if Chris really missed sex he would tell me, or I’d catch him watching porn on the internet as a substitute.
‘But he doesn’t seem to want to go back to having sex, either.
‘We sound like Darby and Joan, I know - even though I’m only 34 and Chris is 40 - but that, to us, is contentment.’
Charlotte and Chris, it seems, aren’t the only ones whose sex life has dwindled to nothing. A recent survey estimated that 15 to 20 per cent of couples have sexless relationships - defined by experts as making love fewer than ten times a year - while around 5 per cent go without altogether.
Actress Helen Mirren spoke for many of these couples earlier this year when she said: ‘I think the power of partnership in marriage is under-recognised in our society. That’s what makes marriages work, not sex.’
In a sex-obsessed society, where everyone - young, old, male and female - seems to be boasting of how many times a week they ‘do it’, it may come as a relief to many that couples like Charlotte and Chris are happy to admit that sex plays no part in their marriages at all.
Most couples who find themselves at a point where sexual intimacy has died tend to confide their predicament to no one at all. But today three brave couples reveal how they have learned to live contented lives without sex.
Chris is understanding about her aversion to sex. ‘It can be hard knowing that our cuddles will never lead to anything more intimate,’ he says. ‘Charlotte is a gorgeous woman and I’m still very attracted to her, but she nearly died and I count my blessings every day that she’s even still here.’
‘I have an hour-long commute at either end of my working day so, to be honest, most of the time I’m too tired for sex anyway.’
Chris, a digital marketing manager, says he doesn’t discuss with friends the absence of sex from his marriage, but believes it is more common than people admit.
‘I don’t know that we’re all that different from other couples, we’re just more open about it,’ he says.
In all other respects, the Everisses have an enviable lifestyle. They live in a beautiful, four-bedroom detached home, have a Mini Cooper convertible and a VW Golf parked on the driveway, and enjoy several foreign holidays a year.
Chris firmly believes that marriage is a lifelong commitment and says that walking out on his family has never crossed his mind.
But for a couple who have not yet reached middle age, surely the prospect of living another 40 years without fulfilling basic, primitive urges is difficult to bear?
‘It’s not as if we just stopped having sex because we stopped loving one another, there are reasons,’ says Chris. ‘I don’t take it personally, and my wife and daughter mean far too much to me to look elsewhere for sex.
‘Of course, men have their needs, but I think I’m better able to control my urges than some - I distract myself with hobbies, like doing up old cars.
‘However, I am hopeful that in the future, when Charlotte and I both feel better in ourselves, our sex life will resume.’
Charlotte is less optimistic.
‘Sex was an important part of our relationship in the early days. Like most new couples we had lots of it and it was good,’ she says.
‘I do feel guilty knowing that Chris sometimes gets aroused when we snuggle up together so, out of wifely duty, I’ve tried to let him make love to me a couple of times in the past three years.
‘The one time we went all the way, after we’d shared a bottle of wine one Friday night, it wasn’t at all enjoyable for me. It wasn’t painful, but I lay there thinking: “How quickly can we get this over with?”
‘I think Chris probably sensed that, which is not great, but maybe he was just relieved it was happening at all.’

What do you think? Do they have a point, or do you think their marriage is headed for disaster? Feel free to share your views.
Sounds like a Summer Movie: Creating the car, crash, and headbutt sounds for 'Fast & Furious 6'
fter finding out how sound helped move us to tears in Star Trek Into Darkness and was created for the suits in Iron Man 3, the third installment of our new series Sounds Like a Summer Movie takes a look at how supervising sound editor Peter Brown, who’s been with the Fast and the Furious franchise since Tokyo Drift and has an Emmy for his work on the “Blackwater” episode of Game of Thrones, got engines revving for Fast & Furious 6. Warning: Major spoilers ahead.
To please the film’s car aficionado fans, Brown had to make the cars
sound bigger than life — but still accurate. “We can’t just take the
sound of the greatest car ever recorded and throw it in for what you see
onscreen,” he says. “We start out with an intense research project
working with Dennis McCarthy, the guy who finds the cars and builds all
the cars like the flip car or tank that don’t really exist in the real
world. We talk to him and figure out what the cars are in and of
themselves: Are they a V8? Are they are a four-cylinder Japanese motor?
What is the reality of the engine? Then once we have a list of those, I
go out and try to find who it is in Southern California or the world who
has the greatest example of that particular engine. So for the case of
Dom’s Dodge Daytona, I found a guy who buys retired NASCAR cars and
refurbishes them and then, I think, he uses them for folks who want to
go out and actually have a day at the track and drive around. It’s got a
V8 in it, but a really souped-up racing engine so when it first comes
off of that elevator and gurgles and burbles and boils through the room,
the sound just fills up the room and any car aficionado is gonna be
like, ‘Yeah, that is a big, beefy V8. That sounds correct,’ but it might
be a little bit more monstrous and large than the actual car from the
early ’70s was.” It’s not just about finding someone who has a beast of
an engine, Brown adds. “You also need to find someone who’s got a car
that’s solid enough to drive like a teenager, just completely
irresponsibly: jam the transmission through all the gears, reverse hard,
downshift. You know, just basically do everything a parent would be
afraid that their teenage son is probably doing with their car when they
let him have it for a Friday night.”
That, of course, is when the fun really begins. “What I do is I rent an airport out in the middle of nowhere, which in this case is the middle of the Mojave Desert, and bring the cars there,” Brown says. “There’s nothing out there. It’s very, very quiet. Two or three planes land during the day, and we have walkie-talkies so hopefully we can hear the talk from the pilots as they say they’re coming in so we can get off the runway. It was in October that I started recording, so as generally happens, I hadn’t seen any of the film at that point. I’d probably read a script, but [director] Justin Lin is always working on the script and changing things around, so I really don’t know exactly what the cars are gonna do. I have to record sounds for any circumstance — whether it’s just gonna be driving down the street or hit a pile of concrete and fly through the air for 60 feet — so I have a long list of specific maneuvers that I have the drivers do. We have professional race car drivers drive these things around so that they can make the cars howl and whine and scream, but not break them. It’s everything from driving in a straight line at 5 mph to doing a 60 mph sideways drift a few fight away from us poor fools standing out on the hot runway holding microphones at the cars.”

Bon Jovi drops concert fee for Spain
.
The paper's website quoted the singer as saying they initially planned not to play Spain as part of their tour to promote their latest album What About Now, fearing poor demand from cash-strapped fans.
But he told El Mundo, "I didn't want to let fans down."
"We did a study and we saw that due to the economic situation Spain wasn't going to be on the road map. But I didn't want to leave out fans from a country I love that has treated me well for 30 years," he added.
So the band decided to drop their performance fee, meaning the ticket money will only cover the other costs of staging the concert.
The country's Bon Jovi fans could certainly do with some cut-price distraction. Spain has been trapped in a recession for most of the past four years since its property market crashed. Thousands of homes have been repossessed and companies have closed down, causing Spain's unemployment rate to soar to nearly 27 per cent - and almost twice that for those aged under 25.
To compound matters, Spain's conservative government has embarked on a harsh program of spending cuts and tax rises, which has further hit the economy and increased the numbers of those out of work.
Tickets for the concert, to be held in a Madrid soccer stadium on June 27, have all sold out.
